Here are a couple of questions that are quite common for new consultants regarding their business debuts.

  1.    Why should I hold a Business Debut?

There are three main reasons to hold a Business Debut.  First, to network your business with friends and family.  Second, to schedule your Power Start.  Lastly, to allow you an opportunity to train, while  your Recruiter/Director sells the product, schedules appointments, and layers your guests with Mary Kay's marketing plan.

  2.    How can I guarantee that my Business Debut is a success?   

To guarantee your success, follow the Business Debut Checklist found in your Welcome Packet and invite at least 50 people with proper follow-up.  In doing this, you can expect 10-15 in attendance.  Remember, "people will disappoint you, but numbers never lie."

  3.    What should I say when I follow up?

“Hi __________, I am so excited, do you have a quick minute?  I am sure you received an invitation to my Business Debut by now and I hope you will be able to drop by.  I can’t wait to see you.  There will be lots of neat displays and samples so you can see what makes Mary Kay the best selling brand of facial skin care and color cosmetics in the nation. 

Although you will not receive a facial at the debut, you will experience our famous Satin Hands Pampering Treatment.  When was the last time you were pampered?

I have only invited an elite group, so I am calling to see if I can count you in, since it is by reservation only.  Will you be coming alone or with a friend?  Great!  Thank you for being so reliable.  I sure do appreciate you!”
